Durban Tourism brings fun with Ricksha Bus

MBABANE – The MTN Bushfire Festival is taking Eswatini international!

On Thursday evening, the Eswatini Tourism Authority welcomed the City of Durban for the 19th edition of the MTN Bushfire Festival.

The partnership between the Durban Tourism and ETA has been ongoing for three years now as from 2023. The Durban Tourism brings out their famous Ricksha Bus and Tours around Eswatini’s busiest cities giving emaSwati a feel of the event.

In an Interview with Winile Mntungwa the Deputy Director at Durban Tourism stated that they are not only here for the festival but have come to the different cities to showcase their Ricksha Bus. ” We are here to give emaSwati the first hand experience of their eThekwini feel. We are also here to show emaSwati some of the brilliant lifestyle and amazing places to see in Durban,” she said.

ETA CEO, Vusi Dlamini said that the partnership is beneficial for both countries as they engage with people from all over the world. ” We also have an airline in the country that travels straight to Durban. Such events help us to promote all our offerings as a Kingdom,” he said.

The Durban Tourism will also have a stall at the MTN Bushfire Festival for all interested individuals who may be curious to know what Durban has to offer for individuals. The Deputy Director also stated that they will be talking more about their famous Durban July festival that attracts over 50 000 people.
