Mbabane – In a shock development that has rocked the Mbabane Swallows fraternity, club physical trainer Siza Dlamini has publicly distanced himself from the FC faction, signalling his readiness to pledge allegiance to the Mbabane Swallows (PTY) Ltd entity.

This explosive revelation occurred during the Mbabane Swallows PTY meeting held at the MDS Hall yesterday. While Dlamini has been serving under the Mbabane Swallows FC banner, his comments yesterday suggest a major internal shift. This comes amid ongoing turmoil, as the FC faction continues to dispute the legitimacy of the PTY entity, claiming it holds no recognition within local football structures.

During the meeting, supporters expressed deep frustration over the club’s current state. Attendees raised serious allegations regarding the mismanagement of funds and a lack of basic necessities for players, including electricity at the training facility. Supporters have even called for the board to petition CAF to intervene in the club’s administration, citing a lack of transparency and leadership.

Wilfred Dumisa Fakudze, speaking on behalf of the Council of Elders, narrated the history of the club, noting that Princess Lungile had previously handed the team back to the supporters. He alleged that the current leadership receives undue backing from the PLE and EFA.

“We served the PLE and EFA with our grievances, but they have ducked and dived,” Fakudze stated. He claimed the team was registered as a company in 2016 and that the current ‘FC faction’ essentially does not exist in the official books.

He urged for police involvement, alleging that official papers proving the company structure had been stolen. He also said they were working behind the scenes appealing Judge Zonke Magagula’s November 2025 judgement that ruled in favour of the FC faction.

Dlamini’s intervention provided a sobering look at the reality on the ground for the technical staff. “It has been tough as the Mbabane Swallows technical bench. I am not FC or PTY; I am just a Swallows person,” Dlamini stated.
