MBABANE – Is the Nsingizini Hotspurs duo of Thubelihle Mavuso and Yeki ‘Madumane’ Khumalo set to join the growing list of Eswatini exports in Zimbabwe?

This comes after reports from a source close to the 2025/26 MTN Premier League champions revealed that the two players left the country yesterday, travelling via King Mswati III International Airport en route to Zimbabwe.

The source stated that the pair is close to securing contracts in the fast-improving Zimbabwean Castle Premiership, following in the footsteps of their former teammates Kwakhe ‘Stopper’ Thwala, Neliswa ‘Tiger’ Dlamini and Sambulo ‘Masoso’ Simelane. The duo of Tiger and Masoso signed for rookies Hardrock, while Thwala joined defending champions Scottland.

“The two players left the country this afternoon for Zimbabwe and, from what I have gathered, they are set to join Masoso and Tiger at Hardrock,” the source said.

Meanwhile, Nsingizini Hotspurs Public Relations Officer (PRO) Sibusiso ‘Mnotfo’ Dlamini said he was unaware of the developments in the team.

“I don’t know anything about that,” he said briefly.

On the other hand, the Shiselweni-based side’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Banele Ngobe declined to comment on the matter.
