The Hyundai Tucson, which is on sale at Hyundai Eswatini, received a whole new look and feel for 2025. This compact SUV is made for adventure and packed with high-tech features to make every drive memorable.

With a starting price of E559 900, new features include upgraded infotainment and tech features, updated interior and exterior design and innovative safety features.

It is available in five trim levels:

·         2.5L ICE

·         Hybrid

·         Hybrid N Line

·         Plug-in hybrid

·         XRT.

Let’s dive into everything the new Hyundai Tucson model has to offer:

·         Aerodynamic elegance: The Tucson’s exterior design sets new standards. The new Hyundai Tucson design builds on its sporty predecessors, adding an even bolder, commanding look. Hyundai designers created kinetic, jewel-like surface details that make the Tucson stand out against other SUVs on the road. The Tucson’s iconic daytime lighting signature has been updated from 10 lighting areas to eight. There is also a new grille, new front and rear fascia and new alloy wheel designs to make this compact SUV even more head-turning.

·         Interior refinement: Luxury meets practicality. If there was one word to describe the interior of the new Tucson, it would be ‘practical’. The Tucson interior features include a redesigned centre stack, now featuring physical knobs and switchgear for audio controls like volume and tuning. The centre console, steering wheel and door panel accents also received a refresh for enhanced usability. There’s also a new dashboard tray above the glovebox for front-seat passenger storage. For enhanced comfort, a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats are available. You’ll enjoy leather or leather-trimmed seats, depending on the trim level, in one of three colours: Black, gray or gray and green. A panoramic sunroof contributes to the overall airy feeling of the new Hyundai Tucson SUV interior. The new Hyundai Tucson SUV has two rows of seating with room for up to five. When it comes to cargo space, you’ll have 38.7 cubic feet of room with both seats up. Fold the second row to get a total of 80.3 cubic feet.

·         Technology: Cutting-edge innovation for a connected drive. While the Tucson received a makeover inside and out, the new tech features are the star of the show. The digital display was reconfigured and is now a curved panoramic display featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen available on all trims. Keep your devices powered with a wireless quick-charging pad and USB-C data/charging ports in the front and back. The software system also received upgrades and now boasts enhanced colours, faster processing speeds and a more intuitive user experience. Also new is a fingerprint authentication sensor on the instrument cluster to enhance security and allow you to start and drive without a smart key. The Tucson’s proximity-key entry with push-button start now comes standard, while the Digital Key 2 Premium is available and provides vehicle access without a key fob. This allows you to lock, unlock and start the engine without needing to take your phone out of your pocket.

Safety features: Comprehensive protection for peace of mind. Hyundai safety features keep you and your loved ones safe on the road. The new Hyundai Tucson now comes with Forward Attention Warning (FAW), which uses a steering column-mounted infrared camera to help track the driver’s gaze and monitor attention levels to help ensure safe driving. Smart Cruise Control 2 is also available to continually assess driver alertness.
