The Hilux Legend 55 is powered by Toyota’s leg¬endary 2.8-litre, turbo diesel four-cylinder GD-6 engine that sends power to either two- or all four wheels via the conven¬ience of a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Balancing performance with efficiency, the Hilux Legend 55’s GD-6 engine produces 150kW of power between 3 000 – 3 400 r/min and 500Nm of torque from a low 1 600 – 2 800 r/min to deliver maximum muscle when towing or over¬taking.
