In a world where many people are still trying to find the motivation to begin their wellness journeys, Nsizwayamabutho Dlamini stands out as a reminder that fitness is not just a phase, it is a lifestyle shaped by purpose, discipline and an unshakeable commitment to health.

Dlamini’s journey began long before fitness became a trend. “I started my fitness and healthy living journey since I was a very young boy,” he recalled. Like many children, sports were simply fun, not a health plan. “At first, it was more like loving sports rather than taking care of my health,” he said.

As he grew older, he realised how much sports had been doing for his physical well-being and that sparked a deeper investment. He subscribed to the gym, prioritised healthy meals and embraced the discipline that comes with caring for the body. Life evolved and so did his fitness choices. “I outgrew football and went into indoor exercises and currently, I do aerobics,” he explained. For him, aerobics blends perfectly with a demanding lifestyle. It is convenient, non-contact and structured enough to keep him grounded. His routine includes Kata box, Hilo, Step and Functional workouts, each serving a purpose in building strength, stamina and overall health. “Aerobics have boosted my energy levels,” he says proudly. Beyond energy and cardiovascular health, the mental benefits keep him going. He describes coming home ‘refreshed and ready to face life’s eventualities’, with stress and anxiety melting away after each session. One of his strongest beliefs is gut health. “Every morning, I clean my gut,” he emphasised. For him, this simple ritual is the key to preventing the sicknesses that plague modern lifestyles. At 44 years old, Nsizwa’s advice is firm and heartfelt: “Know the reasons why you started. Be consistent. Face each day positively. Have a purpose in life. Remember that your family needs you and don’t let health reasons be the reasons they will miss you.” A life of purpose. A routine of discipline. A reminder that health is the greatest gift you can give your loved ones and yourself.
