In the heart of Mbabane’s winding streets and bustling scenes, a 2006 VW Citi Mk1 in blue dusk metallic turns heads wherever it goes, not just for its vivid colour but for the personality it embodies. Owned by Neistostyle Quana, or simply ‘Neisto’ to his crew, this little beast has earned itself a playful and fitting nickname ‘Bad Bunny’. Neisto has only owned the car for just over a year now, having bought it in June last year, but it did not take long for this ride to become more than just a mode of transport. It is a statement, a vibe, a living piece of motoring culture that connects road feel with urban flair. “It does the most,” Neisto said, referring to the car’s ability to deliver performance and style beyond what most expect from an Mk1.

Under the hood of ‘Bad Bunny’ roars a throttle-happy 1.4-litre engine keen to jump at every touch of the pedal, ready to carve through corners or coast in the city with fluid ease. Neisto praises the vehicle’s power delivery, describing it as precise and punchy, giving him just the right amount of torque to play with while staying road-friendly. “It’s flexible for every moment and every drive,” he noted, which speaks volumes about its versatility, capable of handling city commutes, weekend cruises and spirited spins alike.

What truly sets Bad Bunny apart?

It is not just what is under the bonnet, but the cultural heartbeat it carries. ‘Bad Bunny’s finish glistens like a gemstone under Eswatini’s sun, drawing admiration from gear heads and casual passersby alike. It is not just fresh it is the freshest Mk1 in the kingdom, according to its proud owner and it is hard to argue with him. The car reflects Neisto’s own style and values, a fusion of reliability, confidence and charisma. In many ways, ‘Bad Bunny’ is an extension of his personality: Bold but not brash, powerful yet approachable, with a vibe that’s both nostalgic and fresh. When asked about future plans for ‘Bad Bunny’, Neisto hints at subtle tweaks to enhance its visual and performance. For now, he is content riding in what he considers one of Mbabane’s finest. “It’s not just a car, it’s my lane, my lifestyle,” said Neisto. In a city full of stories and road warriors, Neisto and ‘Bad Bunny’ stand out not just for the chrome and paint, but for the soulful bond between man and machine. For every drive they take together, they are writing their own chapter in Eswatini’s motoring industry.  If you would like to be featured on this section and show the world your ride, then send a whatsapp message or call 7936 3694 today.
