A wide range of heavy-duty trucks, trailers and industrial equipment will go under the hammer tomorrow, as Eswatini Auctioneers (Pty) Ltd hosts a major commercial vehicle auction on behalf of the Industrial Development Company of Eswatini (IDCE).

Set to start at 11am, the auction will take place at the IDCE Yard in Matsapha, offering businesses and individuals a rare opportunity to acquire working fleet vehicles and equipment at competitive prices.

The auction features an extensive lineup of commercial assets, including several truck horses, tipper trucks, trailers and specialised machinery. Among the highlights are a 2022 Mercedes-Benz Actros 2652 LS, a 2017 Volvo FH 520 Truck Horse and multiple Mercedes-Benz Actros models, alongside a 2018 Nissan UD Quester CWE 370 tipper truck. Buyers can also expect trailers such as interlink tautliners and side tipper units, as well as a Volvo FM340 concrete mixer truck.

In addition to running vehicles, the auction includes non-runners and heavy equipment such as a Caterpillar D6C bulldozer, as well as a Hino 5-tonne truck, presenting potential value for refurbishment or spare parts. Large quantities of used heavy-duty IBR roofing sheets will also be available, broadening the appeal beyond transport operators to those in construction and related sectors.

Prospective buyers have had the opportunity to inspect the assets during viewing days held from March 23, ending today March 26, allowing them to assess the condition and suitability of each item ahead of the sale.

To participate, bidders are required to pay a refundable registration fee of E10 000, ensuring only serious buyers take part in the process.
