Lubombo Serious Crimes Unit searching for suspect in E104 000 theft

SITEKI – Lubombo Serious Crimes Unit officers are searching for a man wanted in connection with a housebreaking and theft case involving over E100 000.

The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) has identified the suspect as Mhlengi Matsenjwa of the Mzilikazi area, who is currently being sought by the Lubombo Serious Crimes Unit, commonly known as Lukhozi.

According to police, the suspect is linked to a housebreaking and theft incident that occurred in the Mzilikazi area on July 9, 2026.

During the alleged break-in, the police reported that cash amounting to E73 000 and an iPhone valued at E31 000 were reportedly stolen, bringing the total value of the stolen property to E104 000.

Police have since launched a manhunt for Matsenjwa and are urging members of the public to assist with information that could lead to his arrest.

The Royal Eswatini Police Service is appealing to anyone who may have information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect to contact the numbers provided in the accompanying police infographics.
