MBABANE- Eswatini Champions League representatives Nsingizini Hotspurs have added strength to their technical bench with two South African experts ahead of their upcoming CAF campaign.
The Shiselweni-based outfit have acquired the services of Tlale ‘Zhuu’ Mophuleng as their new Goalkeeper Coach, alongside fellow countryman Lindokuhle Ngubane, who comes in as the club’s new Performance Analyst.
Mophuleng arrives with a rich background in football development and high-level competition, having previously worked in South Africa’s National First Division (NFD) with Platinum City Rovers. He also gained valuable youth development experience at the renowned Johannesburg-based Stars of Africa Academy, a pedigree expected to sharpen Hotspurs’ defensive department ahead of the demanding continental assignment.
Ngubane’s introduction as performance analyst will add a modern, data-driven dimension to the technical setup, helping the technical bench dissect opponents and refine tactical execution during their international fixtures.
The duo joins the backroom team led by Head Coach Mandla Qhogi, the former Orlando Pirates Development tactician who masterminded Hotspurs’ historic domestic treble last season. Qhogi’s stellar debut campaign delivered unprecedented success to the club, setting a new benchmark in domestic football and earning them the right to fly the country’s flag once again in the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
By expanding their technical machinery, Nsingizini are sending a clear signal of intent: They are not merely going into the CAF Champions League to make up the numbers, but to compete fiercely on the grandest stage of African club football.
With pre-season preparations gathering momentum and international fixtures looming, the inclusion of Mophuleng and Ngubane provides vital tactical depth and specialised support to ensure the Eswatini champions are well-equipped to navigate the grueling physical and tactical demands of continental football.
