August 8: KwaMagogo Legacy Race

Lace up for one of the kingdom’s most meaningful road races, hosted by the Golden Foot Club. Commemorating the profound liberation heritage of Number 43 Trelawney Park, runners and walkers of all fitness levels can tackle the 21km half-marathon, 10km race or fun walk.

Date & Time: August 8, 2026, at 6am

Location: Pendray Park, Trelawney Park, Manzini

August 14–16: Mlawula Eco-Campfire Weekend

Escape into the Lubombo Lowveld for a weekend under the stars. Enjoy daytime guided biodiversity hikes and game viewing, followed by outdoor cinema nights and campfire storytelling.

Venue: Siphiso Campsite, Mlawula Nature Reserve

August 21–23: Highveld Winter Hiking & Zip-Lining

Make the most of the crisp August mountain air with guided hikes through golden grassland trails or an adrenaline-fueled aerial canopy tour over the forest valley.

August 28–30: 33rd Annual Swazi Rally

One of Southern Africa’s biggest motorcycle gatherings returns. Expect thousands of biking enthusiasts, stunt displays and a weekend of camaraderie.

Venue: Riders Ranch, Sidvokodvo

August 28 – September 7: Eswatini International Trade Fair

Eswatini’s flagship commercial showcase opens its doors, featuring hundreds of local and international exhibitors, cultural performances and family entertainment.

Venue: Mavuso Exhibition Centre, Manzini

August 31: Umhlanga (Reed Dance) Main Day [Public Holiday]

Witness the magnificent climax of Eswatini’s renowned cultural event, where thousands of maidens gather in vibrant traditional dress to celebrate unity, chastity and Swati heritage.
