LOBAMBA – Warned!

The Lobamba Circuit Court has cautioned and discharged the Eswatini Football Association (EFA)  Vice President, Steve Horton. Horton was brought before the court on Wednesday morning after EFA official Tengetile Ndlandla, who also doubles as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Stadium Security officer opened an assault case at Lobamba Police Station.

This was after reports that Horton and Ndlandla had an alteration after the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League do-or-die match between Nsingizini Hotspurs and Zimbabwean side Scottland FC, which was played at Somhlolo National Stadium on September 12

Horton, after his charges were read to him, pleaded not guilty and refuted the claims made by Ndlandla that he manhandled her by the tag. On the other hand, Ndlandla alleged that Horton manhandled and insulted her after she refused him entry into the field as he had no authority to be in that zone.

The court, after hearing the submissions from both parties, cautioned and told Horton to go home.
