MATSAPHA — Mourners from around the world are in attendance to pay their tributes to the late Minister for Home Affairs Pastor Princess Lindiwe.
Jesus Calls Worship Centre’s Pastor Sibusiso Nhleko stated that there are mourners from as far as Sierra Leone, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South Africa, some of whom are friends of the late Princess Lindiwe’s husband, Bishop Robert Kasaro.
Meanwhile, Prince Gcina read the obituary of the late minister, detailing her life in Eswatini and the United States of America. She was hailed for the good work she did for the ministry, such as pushing for the Immigration Act. She was also commended for being a prayer warrior and for attending church services at the national church during the week and many very remarkable work she did in Eswatini at large.
Also in attendance is South African Gospel artist Nomusa Dhlomo, who performed several songs, including one that the late Princess Lindiwe loved, ‘Kubo Bonkhe BoThixo’. She sang several Gospel songs that uplifted the mourners during the memorial service.
Dhlomo stated that she was deeply touched by the passing of the minister. While performing, she mentioned that even though the minister had passed, she knew the mourners were praising on earth, and she assured them that the princess was also praising in Heaven.
The memorial service continues in a solemn atmosphere as mourners share remarkable experiences they had with the late minister. Other notable figures in attendance include Pastor Bakhe Dlamini from and Deputy Prime Minister Thulisile Dladla.
