MATSAPHA — Thousands of mourners have arrived at the Jesus Calls Worship Centre (JCWC) for the memorial service of the late Minister for Home Affairs, Princess Lindiwe Dlamini.
The minister, who was also a pastor at JCWC, passed away after a short illness.
Mourners continue to gather for the ongoing memorial service. Among those in attendance are high-ranking government officials, including ministers Phila Buthelezi, Jane Simelane, Sikhumbuzo Dlamini and Bongani Nzima.
Additional mourners are still arriving, as the praise team leads the congregation in worship to comfort those grieving. Gospel artist Phetsile Masilela is among the musicians who have performed.
More attendees are expected throughout the service, including official representatives of the Government of Eswatini and Their Majesties.
The atmosphere remains deeply emotional. The late Princess Lindiwe will be laid to rest tomorrow morning at Sidvokodvo following a State funeral.
Clerk to Parliament Benedict Xaba hailed the late minister as a hard worker and a humble person, stating that Parliament and the nation have suffered a great loss. He also extended his condolences to Their Majesties and the entire nation.
