MBABANE- The 2FIVE10 concert held at Mdzimba View Shisanyama turned into a major disappointment for local music lovers, marred by low attendance and the abrupt no-shows of headliners Vusi Nova and Ndu Browns.
Fans who went to the 2FIVE10 show at Mdzimba View Shisanyama on September 25 were left very disappointed. Big stars Vusi Nova and Ndu Browns did not show up at all. Out of all the expected artists, only Sobzeen came to perform.
The event, which had generated significant pre-show buzz with Afro-soul star Vusi Nova even releasing promotional videos expressing excitement to celebrate his birthday with Eswatini fans fell dramatically short of expectations, as well as Ndu Browns who confirmed.
During the day, very few people bought tickets and attended the event.
Because many fans were upset and wanted answers, Mdzimba View released an official statement. They explained that they were only renting out their place and had nothing to do with organizing the event.
The statement clearly said, “This show was hosted and promoted by Mr Harvey Cobo and Season 24.”
The venue also shared that they did not make any money from the ticket sales or the gate.
