MBABANE -The first ever Pop Up Flea market has been hailed as a great success by organisers and attendees.
The event was hosted by Cid On Fleek Events. It brought together entrepreneurs, vendors, creatives, food sellers, designers, artists and exhibitors under one roof to showcase their products and services.
In a statement, the organisers thanked everyone who took part in the event. They expressed gratitude to all the businesses who trusted the new platform and to members of the public who came out to shop, eat, dance and support local businesses.
The organisers also extended special thanks to BK Lodge and Conference Centre for partnering with them to bring the vision to life.
According to Cid On Fleek Events, the Pop Up Flea was created for more than just buying and selling. The aim was to create a space where entrepreneurs could meet customers, connect with other businesses, build relationships and take a break from their daily work to have fun.
“What made the day special was seeing entrepreneurs connecting with other entrepreneurs, new friendships being formed and businesses supporting each other,” the organisers said.
Following the success of the first edition, the team says this is only the beginning. They plan to host a bigger and better event next time, with more entrepreneurs, creatives and community members.
The organisers said they want the Pop Up Flea to become a regular space where business meets lifestyle, where networking happens naturally, and where people can enjoy a good day out while supporting local.
