MBABANE  – The fifth edition of the Eswatini Farmers Market got off to an impressive start, with daytime sounds and electric performances setting the tone.

Gates at the Malkerns Country Club opened at midday to welcome patrons to the event, which has grown into one of the country’s most celebrated lifestyle and music gatherings.

From the outset, the atmosphere was defined by vibrant daytime vibes, curated by a line-up of local DJs who ensured the energy remained high throughout the afternoon.

Local favourite DJ Glad proved to be an early highlight, delivering an inspired set that had the crowd on its feet. His seamless mixing and infectious selection set the perfect mood, transforming the club grounds into a dance floor and laying a solid foundation for the evening ahead.

Adding live flair to the decks was local sensation Mandisa Mamba, who did what she does best commanding the stage with power and presence. Accompanied by two talented dancers, Mamba delivered a captivating performance that showcased her artistry and showmanship. In a memorable moment, she invited a member of the audience to join her on stage.

That audience member, Andiswa Sithole, described the experience as unforgettable, saying she had an amazing time sharing the spotlight with the celebrated musician.

The excitement reached new heights with the arrival of South African DJ and producer Argento Dust, who delivered a pulsating Afro House set that left patrons singing word for word and screaming at the top of their lungs. Renowned for his hypnotic, percussion-driven Afro House and Afro-Tech soundscapes, he has built a stellar reputation on the competitive underground circuit before taking his sound to global stages and on Saturday afternoon, he kept the Malkerns crowd enthralled from start to finish.

With its blend of local talent and continental excellence, the Eswatini Market once again affirmed its status as a premier celebration of music, culture and community.
