The early years of a child’s education can shape how they approach learning for years to come. At New Dawn Preschool, education goes beyond the classroom, with a strong focus on faith, character and the holistic development of every child.

New Dawn Preschool is a Christian, English-medium school where God is at the centre of its educational a p proach. Located next to Kuyehlela Flats in Mobeni, Corporation, Mbabane, the school caters for children from across Mbabane, offering classes from preschool up to Grade 0 for children between the ages of three and six.

Hands-On Learning in Action. From fine motor skills to teamwork, class activities are designed to engage and stimulate young minds.

The school’s mission is to introduce children to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour from a young age while preparing them for the transition into primary school.

New Dawn seeks to create an environment where children are motivated to learn and enjoy the learning process. While academic development is important, the school also pays attention to children’s emotional, social, physical, creative and character development.

Technology is also part of the learning experience, with basic computer lessons provided for children aged five to seven. The school encourages children to develop physically through sporting activities, including netball, basketball, soccer, athletics and volleyball. Educational trips around the country also give learners opportunities to learn beyond the classroom.

Speaking about the school’s educational philosophy, the principal said education should encourage children to think independently. “At New Dawn, we believe that the aim of education should be to educate learners on how to think. We believe in improving our children’s minds so as to enable them to be independent thinkers,” he said. The school also values parents’ involvement in their children’s education, holding parents’ meetings during the first and last terms of the school year. New Dawn provides healthy meals, including breakfast and lunch daily. Aftercare is available until 5pm at an additional fee, while transport services are available around Mbabane.

Parents and guardians can now register their children for the 2027 school year. Registration costs E100. Parents should bring the applicants’ birth certificate, child health card and two passport-sized photographs. For enquiries and registration, contact New Dawn Preschool on 3454 0069 or 7602 8486 or email newdawn.swaziland@gmail. com.
