MBABANE – The Evangelical Church Mbabane played host to a spiritual and social event on November 21, wherein Gospel group Spirit Quest brought their regional ‘Inclusive Worship Experience’ tour.

The Spirit Quest music group, which features some of the region’s most powerful vocalists, is known not only for its rich harmonies and deeply moving African-contemporary Gospel sound, but also for its explicit mission of inclusion.  According to Bheki Khanyile, the Founder and Producer of the Gospel group, the tour is meticulously planned to ensure that every worshipper, regardless of age, background or physical ability, feels fully welcomed and accommodated.

“This tour is part of our objectives as a group aiming at going to the people to minister,” he said.

The atmosphere inside the Evangelical Church was electric, with hundreds of congregants joining in praise.

The event was made possible by the Spirit Quest together with the church, Evangelical Church Mbabane collaborating in Praise and Worship.

The performance featured popular anthems like  ‘Gcobani’ ,‘ Izibele’ ,‘Yinde bo’ ,‘Udeka Itafula’, ‘Sikuphakamisa Sikukhothame’,‘Kungumusa Wakho’, ‘Emncamlezweni’ with the group’s dynamic musical arrangement, taking turns on leading the songs. Recently, the Gospel group collaborated with Cana Alliance for the ‘Inclusive Worship Experience’ marking their second show in the kingdom after the release of their album.
