MBABANE – The third edition of MoMo Xperience returns with a bang as the organisers have revealed extended hours for the show.

The third edition of MoMo Xperience returns to the beautiful Malkerns Country Club on Saturday, June 27, 2026, and promises to be another unforgettable celebration of music, culture and community.

The event was launched at the Mahlalekhukhwini House yesterday morning in the presence of distinguished guests such as the Minister for Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs, Bongani Nzima. The minister praised the festival as an event that continues to grow into a vibrant and exciting feature on Eswatini’s social and cultural calendar. “Events like these play a vital role in strengthening our social fabric and fostering a sense of unity and national pride. As a ministry responsible for arts and culture, we are encouraged to see initiatives like this that align closely with our mandate. The MoMo Xperience demonstrates how partnerships between government and the private sector can create meaningful platforms that benefit the public while nurturing talent and enterprise,” said the minister.

Melting C Events Director Mbekezeli Dlamini also known as Culolam, made a crucial announcement during the launch, revealing that they have listened to their audience as they are at the heart of the event’s growth. “Due to popular demand, this year’s festival will no longer end at midnight. Instead, we will extend the celebration until 3:00am, giving our attendees more time to enjoy the music, the atmosphere and the connections. Importantly, we are proud to say that last year’s event was delivered incident-free, a standard we are committed to maintaining,” he said. The minister also noted that one of the most exciting aspects of this event is the opportunity it provides for artists and creatives. “Musicians, dancers, visual artists, storytellers and cultural performers are given a stage to share their talents with the nation. These platforms are essential because they offer exposure, inspire creativity and create economic opportunities for those working in the creative sector,” added Nzima noting that the event is also important as it provides individuals with a platform to trade.
