MBABANE – Moneni Pirates have announced a partnership with a South African-based marketing agency to assist the club in strengthening its brand positioning.

Pirates’ Public Relations Officer Meluleki ‘Sluga’ Simelane says the club has partnered with Never Better Creatives. Simelane clarified that Never Better Creatives is a creative and marketing agency led by liSwati Director Hlengwa Manzini, who brings broad experience in brand development and commercial strategy to the partnership.

“The appointment forms part of the club’s broader strategy to professionalise and strengthen its commercial operations while building Moneni Pirates into a stronger and more recognisable football brand,” Simelane said.

He added that the partnership is particularly important as the club looks to improve its approach to merchandising and fan products.

“Moneni Pirates FC believes that the modern football club has to be competitive both on the pitch and in the commercial space. Football supporters are increasingly becoming an important part of a club’s commercial ecosystem, and Pirates want to ensure that their supporters have more opportunities to actively identify with and support the club,” he said.

The Sea Robbers unveiled their new Umbro playing kits and replica jerseys on Thursday, August 20, 2026, giving supporters the chance to proudly wear the team’s colours.

“The club calls on the entire ‘Mabhakaniya’ family to embrace the new season, proudly wear the new colours and continue standing behind the team as we enter this exciting new chapter,” the PRO said.

The new replicas went on sale yesterday, Friday, August 21, 2026, at a retail price of E600 per jersey. The club is working to make the kits easily accessible to supporters, with stock set to be available through selected retail outlets across the country, including Ikleri in Manzini.

Worth noting is that the Selaotse ‘Sly’ Moasala-led team is one of the most fancied sides in Eswatini, ranking fourth after the traditional ‘big three’ clubs — Mbabane Highlanders, Mbabane Swallows and Manzini Wanderers.
