MBABANE – The 33rd edition of the Swazi Rally will be a memorable one for the attendees and organisers as their prayers were well received by the grand prize bike being won by a local.

Tyra Rose, a young lady from the kingdom was shocked when she heard that she was the winner of the grand bike. This year’s bike was a Suzuki 8S valued at over E180 000.

When asked how she was feeling upon receiving her prize, the young lady was speechless and still tried to gather her breath after soaking in the moment. She did also say that she is not a professional biker but this is a sign that she must start riding as well.

The Swazi Rally has been one festival that promotes Swati culture and brings more tourists into the Kingdom of Eswatini. Every year, participants and spectators gather to enjoy the thrill of racing and the celebration of Eswatini’s rich culture. The rally’s influence extends beyond the race track, contributing to the development of the country’s economy and fostering pride in local heritage.

The prize represents more than just a bike, it symbolises achievement, adventure and the spirit of progress that is celebrated through the Swazi Rally. The motorcycle grand prize is a reflection of the Swazi Rally’s commitment to rewarding effort and dedication.
