Motruck Nissan Eswatini has officially introduced the all-new Nissan Tekton to the local market, unveiling the new SUV on Friday, September 25, 2026. The Tekton arrives with a combination of bold SUV styling, modern technology, practicality and Nissan’s established SUV design language.

Motruck New Vehicle Sales Manager Zuleka Daude said the dealership was excited about t h e brand’s prospects. “We have confidence in the Nissan brand, in the local market and what lies ahead. For us here at Nissan Motruck Eswatini we are incredibly excited to be part of the Nissan journey.”

BOLD SUV PRESENCE

The Tekton draws design inspiration from Nissan’s SUV heritage, including cues from the Nissan Patrol. Its exterior features a confident stance, C-shaped signature lighting, LED headlights and rear lights, with higher grades offering 18-inch alloy wheels, auto-folding mirrors and an electric panoramic opening glass roof.

Inside, Nissan has focused on space and comfort. Depending on the grade, buyers can expect features such as front ventilated seats, a six-way powered driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, rear air vents and a front cooling storage compartment.

Higher-specification models add multi-colour ambient lighting, a wireless charger and a more premium cabin finish.

TECHNOLOGY MEETS EVERYDAY DRIVING

The Tekton features a 10.1-inch central infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Selected grades also receive a 10.25-inch TFT instrument cluster, paddle shifters and Nissan’s MultiSense drive modes, offering Eco, Comfort and Perso settings.

Practicality is another key part of the package, with up to 518 litres of luggage space behind the second row and up to 700 litres when measured to the roof.

TURBOCHARGED POWER

The range is powered by two turbocharged petrol engines. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder produces 74kW and 160Nm and is paired with a six-speed manual transmission.

The 1.3-litre four-cylinder turbo produces 115kW and 260Nm and comes with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Safety technology includes six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring and ISOFIX mounting points.

Higher grades add features such as lane departure warning, lane keep assist, blind spot warning, adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go and forward collision warning.
