Women from various churches are expected to converge tomorrow night for an All- Night Prayer Service to intercede for the nation. The service, hosted by Prophetess Nandi Dlamini, will be held at the Nkwalini Zone 4 Health Centre under the theme ‘Watchwomen on the Wall’ taken from the Book of Isaiah 62:6-7.
According to the host, the gathering is a call for women to stand in the gap for Eswatini at a time when the country is faced with mounting social challenges. “The aim of the prayer is to cry out to God in one voice with regards to the crime rate, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), youth unemployment rate, divorce rate in the country, as well as corruption,” said Prophetess Dlamini.
She added that most importantly, the prayer will be for unity in the Body of Christ. “Most importantly, we are praying for the Church of Christ to be one,” she said.

Prophetess Dlamini said the theme is fitting as women are taking the position of watchwomen, refusing to be silent while the nation goes through difficult times. A powerful line-up of female ministers has been invited to lead the intercession.
Speakers will include Apostle B Shongwe from the House of Restoration (War Room), Prophetess K Mamba from Kukhany’ Okusha World Church International (KHWCI) in Siphofaneni Make Jele from Chosen Generation and Make Manana from the Free Evangelical Assemblies (FEA) Zone 4.
The service is expected to draw women from different denominations in Nkwalini, Siphofaneni and surrounding communities.
Prophetess Dlamini said the challenges facing the country cannot be left to government alone but require divine intervention.
RESTORATION
Eswatini has in recent years recorded concerning statistics in GBV cases, youth unemployment and crime, while divorce and family breakdown have also been identified as growing social concerns. The church, she said, believes that united prayer can bring healing and restoration.
“We cannot keep quiet when our children are unemployed, when women and children are abused, when crime is increasing, and when corruption is eating our country.
As women, as mothers of the nation, we must cry out to God,” she said. All women, youth and members of the community are invited to attend.
The prayer will start in the evening tomorrow and continue until the early hours of the following morning. The event is open to all churches and is non-denominational.
