TheNight of Total Deliverance, hosted by Gate of Heaven Christian Assembly (GHCA) in Pongola, South Africa, became a powerful night of worship, prayer, healing and prophecy as believers gathered in large numbers at Waterbus Community Hall.

Held on Friday, September 25, the overnight service ran from 6pm until 6am under the theme of ‘healing, deliverance and prophecy’, with GHCA leader and Senior Seer Prophet Joshua Angel ministering to the people.

The Word was taken from Acts 28:1–10, where Paul was bitten by a snake after arriving on the island of Malta.

The people expected him to swell up and die, but Paul did not suffer any harm. Instead, he shook the snake off into the fire.

Speaking from this scripture, Prophet Joshua Angel reminded bazalwane that not every attack against them will succeed.

He said, just as the snake could not kill Paul, there are people and situations that may rise against God’s children, but they will not have the final say.

The prophetic message was simple: When God is with you, what is sent to destroy you can become a testimony instead. Prophet Joshua encouraged bazalwane not to spend their lives focusing on those who wish them harm, but to keep their eyes on God.

He reminded the congregation that God is able to protect His people from things they can see and even those they cannot see.

“Focus on God and He will protect you from the evil that wants to harm you,” was the message delivered to the congregation.

For GHCA, the Pongola service was also a special moment as it was the ministry’s first visit to the area. The church expressed gratitude for the support and warm reception from the people of Pongola.

“The response from the people of Pongola was overwhelming. The venue was filled to capacity as people came in large numbers to experience the ministry,” said Prophet Joshua Angel.

The night also featured Gospel artist Bongiwe Ndlangamandla, who added to the atmosphere of worship.

For bazalwane, the night served as a reminder that God can turn attacks into testimonies, trials into victories and fear into faith.

The call was to remain in God, trust His Word and keep believing, because what the enemy sends against God’s people does not have to become their ending.

A section of the large crowd of believers gathered at the Waterbus Community Hall for a night of healing, deliverance and prophecy.
