MBABANE – Eight Eswatini football administrators have secured positions on COSAFA subcommittees strengthening the country’s regional leadership for the next four years.
Leading the delegation is Eswatini Football Association President Peter ‘Samora’ Simelane as Medical Committee Chairman following his election to the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) Executive Committee in May.
COSAFA Media Officer Lynda Greeff confirmed the released list including Eswatini Football Association Senior Vice-President Steve Horton on the Competitions Committee and Masotja Vilakati on Governance and Compliance.
Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) executive member Sicelo Mkhonta joins the Finance Committee while Aaron ‘Katalala’ Mavimbela serves on Technical and Development.
Lawyer Thulani Sibandze takes a spot on the Disciplinary Committee with Siphosini Dlamini on the Appeals Board and Luke Shongwe on Legal.
EFA Marketing and Communications Manager Muzi ‘Rhoo’ Radebe congratulated the local football administrators for being appointed in regional football.
