MBABANE – The battle for the next Miss Teen Hhohho title has begun.

A total of 15 contestants have shown interest by registering and joining the Miss Teen Hhohho 2025/26 pageant. This was revealed by the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC) Hhohho Officer, Nokwanda Masimula.

Masimula said they had closed the registrations and the 15 young ladies who had joined the pageant will be down to a top five. “All these contestants showed up to collect registration forms, and everything has been done. We will be having our eliminations this Saturday from midday at Highlands Inn,” she said.

The Miss Teen registration was officially closed and registration costs E100. The competition promises to be an exciting celebration of youthful talent and cultural pride, with a diverse group of contestants representing the country’s different regions.

Masimula also said this year’s Hhohho participants come from various parts of the region, as far as Buhleni will reflect the rich cultural diversity of the nation.

This number of entrants echoes the region’s strong interest in empowering young women and celebrating their achievements.

Their involvement points out the region’s commitment to youth development and community engagement.

The Miss Teen Eswatini pageant offers an invaluable platform for young women to develop confidence, leadership skills and community awareness. Tony Dlamini, Eswatini Pageants Chairman, said joining the competition will give the contestants not only an opportunity to compete for the crown.

“Such pageants will also foster growth for these young girls and opportunities to become ambassadors of positive change within their communities,” he said.

With such a diverse and passionate group of contenders, the upcoming pageant will be a memorable event that highlights the energetic youth of Eswatini.

As the contestants prepare for the various stages of the competition, from interviews to talent displays, the excitement continues to grow among audiences and supporters alike.

The participation of contestants from all regions for the grand finale exemplifies the collective eagerness and commitment to celebrating Eswatini’s young women.

As they gear up for the pageant, their journey symbolises hope, ambition and the bright future that lies ahead for the kingdom’s youth.
