MBABANE – Is former Mbabane Swallows gaffer Caleb ‘No Nonsense’ Ngwenya set to make a sensational return to the capital city giants?

This question arises after the coach was spotted watching the red and white capital city giants in a practice match against Ubombo Sugar Football Club, formerly Illovo FC, at Mayaluka Stadium yesterday. He was later seen driving away with one of Swallows’ top officials after the match.

Ngwenya recently parted ways with Moneni Pirates, a team he joined from Umkhonto KaShaka on January 4, 2025. He immediately made an impact at the ‘Sea Robbers’ of Moneni, leading them to the final of the 2024/25 Ingwenyama Cup, where they lost to Royal Leopard, courtesy of a lone strike from Thokozani ‘Thikithi’ Dlamini.

According to a source close to ‘Birds’, the coach is allegedly on his way back to the club, having held talks with some of the team’s top officials. “Caleb is set to rejoin Swallows, as he was spotted in one of the eateries around the city with Swallows officials,” the source said.

Welile Mabuza, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Sifiso ‘Mr Cool’ Mabila-captained team, said he heard that Ngwenya was indeed spotted watching the team against Ubombo Sugar FC. However, he was quick to reveal that such issues are handled by the Public Relations Officer Knowledge ‘Bhambo’ Ngwenya’s office.
