HLANE – For the first time in the history of Butimba, warriors were treated to a prayer prior to Umkhandlo.

Umkhandlo is a cultural event where a regiment, be it of warriors or Lutsango, come together for a post-mortem report during the course of the event.

Most important about Umkhandlo is that the regiment of the time interacts with His Majesty King Mswati III.

The warriors were gathered at Hlane Royal Residence for Butimba when they were visited by Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams from Ghana, who shared the word of God that appealed to the king and warriors.
