MANZINI – A solitary strike from Captain Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa was enough for a resilient 10-man Green Mamba to secure a 1-0 victory over Ubombo Sugar and book their place in the 2025 8Bet Trade Fair Cup final.

Played before a lively crowd at Mavuso Sports Centre, the semi-final clash was decided by Ndzinisa’s second goal of the tournament, putting him in a strong position to win the E7 000 top goalscorer prize. His main competition, Manzini Sea Birds forward Muzi Tsabedze, was yet to play his semi-final match at the time of this report.

Green Mamba, who won this tournament in 2023, now have a chance to claim the revised E630 000 prize money.

The match was a tense affair with both sides struggling to create clear-cut opportunities in the first half. Green Mamba’s Ndzinisa and Bhekani Mthembu had shots on goal, while Ubombo Sugar’s Melusi ‘Vardy’ Thwala used his speed to try and break the deadlock, but both teams went into the break level at 0-0.
