MBABANE – Young Zesh’s hit single, ‘Senibeketele’ has surpassed 100 000 view mark on YouTube within five months of its release and is officially ready to be paid by YouTube.

The track, whose title translates to ‘You have been patient,’ is a heartfelt anthem of appreciation, released under his independent label, Mabonwa Abulawe Records.

‘Senibeketele’ holds particular significance as it marks Young Zesh’s debut release under his newly established label, Mabonwa Abulawe Records. The song is a collaborative effort, produced by DJ Citie and Jimmy Boy SD, with the final mix and mastering handled by Sean Cast HQ.

Born Mzwandile Comfort Ginindza, Young Zesh has revealed that the song draws inspiration from his life experiences and serves as a heartfelt dedication to the unwavering support of his fans.

“This is a catchy song because of its chorus,” he said. Young Zesh is known for his blend of African Trap, Hip Hop and traditional SiSwati cultural rhythms.

In an interview with Young Zesh, he mentioned that reaching 100 000 views on YouTube with ‘Senibeketele’  is honestly one of the most meaningful moments of his career. “It is not just a milestone, it is a confirmation that the message, the story and the emotion behind the song truly touched people. When I dropped ‘Senibeketele’, I wanted it to speak for anyone who has ever felt overlooked, underestimated or counted out. Seeing it break 100 000 tells me that people did not just hear it, they felt it,” he said.

He elaborated that to him 100 000 views are not just a statistic, it is a celebration of growth. “It is proof that consistency, prayer and passion do pay off, it is a reflection of the people who share my music daily, those who play it at home, during events, in taxis and even those who recommend it to others. Every single view represents a heart that was touched,” he said.

He also mentioned that he has registered to be paid on YouTube: “I need to sit down and count the Dollars according to how YouTube pays per song, because I have never calculated, as I still have not cashed out any money,” he said.

Young Zesh’s journey, which includes previous fan favourites like ‘kaKhoza’, working with Her Royal Highness Buhlebetive on a song for her solo dance during the Reed Dance Ceremony 2025 in Shiselweni and a recent collaboration with Gospel artist Bishop Gcina Masuku on ‘Nhlitiyo Yami’ positions him as a central figure in a new generation of Eswatini musicians.
