MBABANE – The international doors are swinging wide for two of Nsingizini Hotspurs’ standout stars.

In a major move for the country’s football, the versatile Kwakhe ‘Stopper’ Thwala and galloping striker Sambulo ‘Masoso’ Simelane have reportedly jetted out of the country for an assessment with the ambitious Zimbabwean outfit, Scottland FC.

According to a source close to the reigning MTN Premier League champions, the duo departed for Zimbabwe via King Mswati III International Airport yesterday.

“The two players departed today (yesterday), with Kwakhe leaving earlier than Masoso, who flew out at around 11:30am,” the source confirmed.

The source said ‘Masoso’, was informed of the opportunity to try his luck with Scottland on Tuesday by club.

“It was then decided that Kwakhe should go with him too,” the source said.

The source also said the players are expected to join the Castle Premiership champions for training today. They will undergo a period of assessment by the technical bench, with the ultimate goal of securing permanent contracts.

The Zimbabwean proposed move for the pair comes at a time when the former national team, Sihlangu Captain, Kwakhe is also reportedly linked with Mozambican side Costa do Sol, who recently tabled an over E100 000 offer for the utility player.
