Fakazi Samuel is a distinguished local Gospel artist, author and philanthropist, whose life journey is deeply rooted in faith and vision. His biography reflects a man committed to advancing the Kingdom of God through music, literature and humanitarian work. Born and raised in the capital city, Samuel has transitioned from a local performer into a sound missionary, using his saxophone as a vessel to bridge the gap between the spiritual and the sonic. Currently, he is actively engaged in several ventures that underscore his growth and commitment to both art and community.

Through Sabela Records, Samuel is currently working on new music slated for release soon.

He has become a sought-after collaborator, writing songs for fellow artists and promoting emerging talents such as Machawe Simelane, Blessing Dludlu and Lindwayinkhosi Mpila. To support this professional expansion, he has enhanced his official website, fakazisamuel.com, to provide improved services to a growing global fan base. “We have released Machawe Simelane’s The Endless Worship album”

Under the banner of Sabela Publishers, Samuel is developing his second book with plans for publication in 2026. Simultaneously, his philanthropic arm, the Sabela Foundation, is spearheading a Tree Plantation Project. This initiative involves building orchards for NGOs to support communities in need, reflecting his belief that ministry extends beyond the pulpit and the stage into tangible social upliftment.

Compared to his earlier work, the music Samuel produces today reflects a more refined and globally appealing sound. ‘Fakazi Samuel is in his better version of himself now’  His current focus remains on creating music that resonates with international audiences, while seasoned artists increasingly embrace his gift for songwriting.

The year 2025 marked significant milestones for the artist, including the release of his first single, ‘Africa Unite’, from the album ‘Sing A New Song’. His drawing board for 2025 included the launch of his official website and the composition of songs for established artists on larger platforms. These efforts did not go unnoticed, as he was recognised with the Best Gospel Male Artist Award at the National Gospel Music Awards. Furthermore, the year was defined by his charitable contributions to emaSwati through the Sabela Foundation and his unwavering support for upcoming local artists.

The 2025 calendar year proved to be exceptionally busy for Samuel, with numerous invitations to perform at corporate events, church functions and weddings.

He has expressed deep gratitude for the honour of serving at such prestigious occasions. “I am so grateful to everyone who booked me”. The festive season was equally vibrant, featuring performances at family gatherings and year-end functions. A standout highlight was the Pigg’s Peak Hotel Christmas event, where Samuel was honoured as the sole entertainer for the entire celebration.
