MBABANE – South African actress and fashion designer Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa is set to showcase her latest collection at the upcoming Swazi Polo event scheduled for August.

The announcement was made by Shadow Zwane during the launch of the country’s first-ever events calendar organised by the Eswatini Events Managers and Promoters Association (EEMPA) in collaboration with the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC). The launch, held on February 26 at Julio’s Cinelux in Manzini, served as a strategic platform to outline the kingdom’s major social and sporting fixtures for the year. The Swazi Polo was identified as a primary highlight for the third quarter.

A significant operational change for the fourth edition involves a revision of the event’s duration. Zwane confirmed that the proceedings will return to the original schedule of 10am to 5pm. This follows the 2025 iteration which saw the event extended until 7pm. The decision to revert to the 5pm finish time is intended to align with the traditional format of the day’s programme. “The event is supposed to be a day time vibe,” he said.

The third edition of the Swazi Polo cemented its status as Eswatini’s premier high-fashion and sporting showcase. Attendees considered the atmosphere comparable to the Durban July. During the event held on October 11, 2025 at Yellowstone, Swazi Lizkhar, guests dressed to the core under the demanding ‘Polka Dot’ theme. This drew comparisons to South Africa’s fashion spectacle, the Hollywoodbets Durban July, where guests curate looks with an intricate blend of thematic creativity, high-end flair and daring style.
