MBABANE – The police are looking for two men who were caught on camera breaking in and are reportedly wanted for armed robbery cases.
The law enforcers are seeking public assistance in identifying and locating these suspects as they are wanted in connection with multiple armed robbery cases within the Mbabane precinct. The police, in their Facebook page, claimed that the suspects are part of a syndicate that breaks into people’s homes while they are asleep, attacking and holding them hostage. The suspects purportedly demand jewellery and money during these attacks. Additionally, the suspects are said to be wanted by Manzini Police for committing similar offences.
The suspects, according to the police, are suspected of being of Tanzanian nationality.
The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) appealed to anyone with information or who can identify the suspects to contact Hhohho Junior Dlamini on 7606 7447 or Mbabane desk officer on 7626 0105 or dial 999/999 or 112 for emergency.
Meanwhile, law enforcers at the Manzini Police Station are said to have launched a manhunt for suspects involved in a housebreaking and theft case following an incident that occurred at Coates Valley on March 13 at about 1:20pm.
It is alleged that a 60-year-old woman of Coates Valley, discovered that her house had been broken into and the suspects stole jewellery valued at E203 800, along with a sum of E25 000 in cash.
