DJ Dilson, Liloca Mozambique headliners for Makoti Festival

MBABANE – The Makoti Festival team with media from Eswatini travelled to Mozambique for the country’s line-up reveal.

At the media launch in Maputo, Festival Director Isidore Pinto unveiled part of the line-up, including DJ Skywhite, DJ Dilson and Liloca. “This adds more excitement as Makoti Festival continues to celebrate culture, music and unity across borders,” he said. Pinto expressed his gratitude to the artists for agreeing to perform at the festival.

The fifth edition of the Makoti Festival promises to be an unforgettable experience, with its diverse line-up showcasing the best of local and regional talent. Music lovers are eagerly awaiting the event, which is set to bring together people from across the region to celebrate culture and unity through music.

The festival which will be held at Malkerns Country Club on the second of May,will feature a range of performances, from energetic dance tracks to soulful melodies, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

With its vibrant atmosphere and talented line-up, Makoti Festival is shaping up to be one of the most exciting events of the year.

Makoti Festival also got a boost with the confirmation of DJ Dilson, who promises to bring ‘pure fire’ to the stage. “I am  not coming to just play and leave, but to leave an impression on the crowd,” says the artist, guaranteeing an electrifying performance fans won’t forget. DJ Dilson’s unique sound is expected to get the crowd dancing and singing along.

Mozambican star Liloca is also set to energise the crowd with her powerful voice and vibrant performances, adding strong Mozambique flavour to the event. Known for her captivating stage presence, Liloca is sure to be a highlight of the festival as said she will be in her traditional attire and will be singing her music that reflects the strength of Mozambique women.
