MBABANE – Popular Gospel group, Spirit Quest had their annual team building at Mozambique Ponta Do Oure where they had a beach experience.

This is an annual event that aims to ensure holistic fellowship among the members of the group.

Bheki Khanyile, Founder and Producer of Spirit Quest, said It was their belief that a group like theirs where members are above 26, should meet on an annual bases in a social, friendly and informal set up to try and reflect on the previous year. “Particularly which has a negative effect on our lives when we are off the pulpit, every person has three things that make up who he or she is, personality, background and level of understanding. All these things need a common ground for them to understand each other which cannot happen in a formal setup, hence this activity, “said Khanyile.

Khanyile said It is a time where they allow each and everyone to freely express his or her real personality when outside the church environment. He added that this usually helps even the leader to know the calibre of the people he is dealing with in his team. “Outings are essential for every team, for our group, they also help us to monitor and evaluate their changes and growth as they are working together in this spiritual union,” he said.

This also marks the beginning of serious preparations for their recording to be held next year, as they are recording every after two years, making 2027 a year of recording for their sixth album.
