MBABANE - Eswatini’s premier golfer Nobuhle Dlamini is officially back in the elite mix after a sensational surge up the Investec Order of Merit.

Following the conclusion of the Investec SA Women’s Open, Dlamini has climbed to a commanding seventh position on the leaderboard with 434.96 points. This leap marks a massive turnaround from her standing on March 31, when she found herself outside the top 10 entirely. By March 23, she had fought her way back to the 10th spot, and her current ranking of seventh proves she is hitting her peak at exactly the right time.

Her ascent was fuelled by gritty performances in high-pressure environments, most notably at the Investec SA Women’s Open, where she finished 55th overall and stood tall as the third highest-ranked African golfer in the field. She showed similar consistency at the Joburg Ladies Open, finishing 38th overall and securing a spot as the fourth-ranked African on the leaderboards. These tournaments are critical because they are co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the Sunshine Ladies Tour, meaning they carry heavy weight and offer the essential points needed to challenge the world’s best.

For Nobuhle, maintaining this momentum in the Investec rankings is vital for her career trajectory. A high finish on the Order of Merit does more than just show her dominance; it secures her international exemptions into major global events like the Women’s Scottish Open and the AIG Women’s Open. Furthermore, the stakes are high as the top three finishers on the final standings will share a massive E1.1 million bonus pool. By moving into seventh, Nobuhle has sent a clear message that she is chasing the top prize and ready to take Eswatini golf to even greater heights on the international stage
