Starting from its inception, her objective was clear, to create a formal structure where young entrepreneurs could receive mentorship and networking opportunities. Nsibande recalls the early days of the chamber as a period of intense learning. “The Youth Chamber was born out of a necessity to give the youth a voice in the economic landscape. Our goal has always been to ensure that every young person with a dream has the tools to make it a reality,” she explains.
Her achievements are not limited to the boardroom. She has been recognised for her contributions to social development and her ability to mobilise resources for community-based projects. These accolades, however, are viewed by Nsibande as mere indicators of the work that still needs to be done.
