The engines roared and the tyres screeched as the spin arena came alive at this year’s Biggest Braai, held at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre in Manzini. With over 10 000 attendees flooding the venue on Saturday for the opening day, it was the car spinning that quickly became the heartbeat of the event.
Crowds gathered in anticipation around the spin arena and from the moment the first engines revved, the atmosphere ignited with energy. What followed was a thrilling spectacle of speed, skill and smoke that left the au¬dience in awe. The spinners, seasoned and fearless, put on a high-octane per¬formance that had spectators jumping up and down in excitement.  The line-up featured some of the country’s finest and most recognisable names in the spinning scene.

SAFETY DISPLAYED

Team Swazi, known for their preci¬sion; the Masina Brothers; the daredevil antics of Danger and Yende; and the always-explosive Team Altezza, each delivered jaw-dropping stunts and theatrical flair that turned the arena into an adrenaline-fuelled showcase.

What made the show even more impressive was the level of professionalism and safety displayed by all the drivers. Despite the roaring engines and tyre burnouts, everything was executed with control and exper¬tise, no injuries or accidents were reported, proving that the art of spinning is not only about thrill but also discipline and skill.

Fans erupted in cheers after every 360, figure-eight and daring exit manoeuvre. The crowd’s energy was electric and many said the spinning was the highlight of the day.

With such a strong showing, car spinning has cemented its place as a central feature of the Biggest Braai and a legendary spectacle in Eswati¬ni’s motorsport scene.
