THE Eswatini Conference of Churches (ECC) is set to hold the Leadership Foun¬tain Conference 2025, scheduled for Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the Metropolitan Evangelical Church.
This pivotal event, running from 9am to 4pm, is designed specif¬ically for pastors, church boards and committees, church workers and emerging leaders from across Eswatini.
Under the powerful theme, ‘Conflict Resolution and Management within the Church,’ the conference seeks to empower church leadership with both spiritual and practical tools to navigate conflicts, one of the most pressing challenges facing ministry today. Conflicts, if left unresolved, can fracture congregations and derail the mission. This con-ference offers a timely opportunity for leaders to learn how to transform tension into growth and unity.
INSPIRING AND EXPERT SPEAKERS TO LEAD THE WAY
The conference will fea¬ture a distinguished panel of speakers who bring a wealth of experience and insight: Apostle Mxolisi Lephoko of Church on the Hill, South Africa, will open the day with a session on the Spiritual Perspective on Conflict Management.
Drawing on decades of pasto¬ral ministry and biblical wisdom, Apostle Lephoko will guide attendees through key scriptural principles, including Matthew 18:15-17 on restoring rela¬tionships and Proverbs 15:1 on the power of gentle words. His teaching will inspire leaders to approach disputes with grace, humility and faith.
Judge Qinisile Mabuza, a respected High Court Judge in Eswatini, will address the critical topic of Legal Advice on Church-Related Court Matters and Judicial Processes. Church disputes sometimes esca¬late into legal challenges, and Judge Mabuza’s session will clarify how leaders can navigate these complex-ities while maintaining integrity and compliance with the law.
A representative from the Ministry of Commerce (Registrar of Companies) will provide essential guidance on church registration, governance, and the often-asked question: Are churches companies? This session promises to demystify the legal status of churches, explain governance requirements, and underscore the importance of accountability and transparency in ministry.
