Eswatini can now look forward to a new addition on local roads, as Mbabane Motors has confirmed that the all-new Suzuki Across will be arriving in the Eswatini market.

Already introduced in South Africa, the model is positioned as Suzuki’s most advanced SUV yet, combining modern styling, hybrid efficiency and family-focused practicality.

Bold design built for Eswatini roads

The Suzuki Across immediately stands out with its strong road presence. Its wide stance, sculpted body lines and sleek LED headlamps give it a modern, premium look, whether driving through Mbabane or Manzini traffic or taking the open road to Lavumisa.

The front design features a chrome-linked grille and sharp lighting signature, while the rear boasts a full-width LED taillamp cluster. Practical elements such as protective cladding and raised ground clearance make it suitable for both urban driving and the occasional gravel roads found across the country.

A modern, driver-focused interior

Inside, the Across adopts a clean and minimalist cabin designed for comfort and ease of use. The layout removes unnecessary clutter, keeping key controls within easy reach, ideal for everyday commuting.

For families, space and practicality are key highlights. The SUV includes flexible rear seating, multiple storage compartments and convenient features like wireless charging and rear power outlets, perfect for longer trips across Eswatini or beyond. The cabin is also designed to feel refined, with quality finishes and a modern digital layout.

Well-equipped variant for local needs

The Across will be available in one variant in the country and that is the GL, while Suzuki completes some final touches on the GLX for the local market.

The GL model already comes well-equipped with a digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system, smartphone connectivity, reverse camera and cruise control, features that suit both city driving and highway travel between towns.

Advanced safety & driver assistance

Safety is a major focus in the Across, with features such as multiple airbags, stability control and braking systems included as standard. Higher-spec models add intelligent driver assistance technologies like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and emergency braking, helping to make driving safer on busy roads.

Fuel-efficient mild-hybrid performance

Under the bonnet, the across is powered by Suzuki’s 1.5-litre K15C mild-hybrid engine.

This system combines a petrol engine with an integrated starter generator and lithium-ion battery to improve efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.

Producing around 76kW and 137Nm, the setup is designed for smooth, everyday driving rather than high performance.

With fuel consumption averaging approximately 5.3 litres per 100km, the Across offers a cost-effective solution for emaSwati motorists dealing with rising fuel prices, while also reducing emissions.

Pricing starts at E349 900 for the Across 1.5 Mild-hybrid GL 5MT and the GL 6AT is priced at E372 900. These prices are excluding licensing fee. The range is sold with a four-year/60 000km service plan and a five-year/200 000km promotional warranty.
