MBABANE – Nobuhle Dlamini has returned to the Investec Order of Merit top 10 following her tied ninth-place finish at Blair Atholl.
The Eswatini professional golfer climbed to 10th in the latest Investec Order of Merit standings after collecting 25.50 points with her impressive performance at the Blair Atholl Ladies Pro-Am on the Sunshine Ladies Tour.
The latest top-10 ranking adds to an encouraging season for Dlamini, whose best performances include top five finishes this season. She finished tied fourth at both the SuperSport Ladies Challenge and the Standard Bank Ladies Open, while also claiming a tied fifth finish at the Jabra Ladies Classic, underlining her consistency on tour.
The Investec Order of Merit is the Sunshine Ladies Tour’s season-long rankings system, rewarding golfers with points based on their finishing positions at each tournament. The higher a player finishes, the more points they earn. The standings are used to measure consistency across the season and often determine bonuses, exemptions into bigger tournaments and playing opportunities on international tours.
For Lobamba born golfer, a former Investec Order of Merit champion, returning to the top 10 is another significant milestone as she continues her pursuit of a strong finish to the season. With more events still to come, the experienced golfer has an opportunity to climb further up the rankings and strengthen her chances of securing additional playing opportunities on bigger stages.
Her latest achievement is also another boost for Eswatini golf as she continues to fly the national flag with distinction on the regional circuit.
