MANZINI – UNESWA Luyengo Campus has been crowned the 2026 Enactus Eswatini national champions, taking home E20 000 after turning agricultural waste into fertiliser and securing the title for the third consecutive year.
The victory was secured during the Enactus Eswatini National Expo held at The George Hotel in Manzini, where the Luyengo team impressed judges with an innovative project that transforms waste materials, including broiler chicken feathers and leaves, into organic manure and fertiliser.
The win makes Luyengo Campus the defending national champions for the third year running and earns the students another opportunity to carry Eswatini’s flag onto the international stage.
The team received E20 000 following its victory, with E10 000 being the official prize money and a further E10 000 coming from a personal pledge made by Minister for Information, Communication and Technology Savannah Maziya.
