MBABANE – Moneni Pirates have unveiled two fresh faces recruited directly from Orlando Pirates’ youth academy.
Refiloe ‘Udo’ Madu and Reggy Williams have completed permanent transfers from the Soweto giants to the Sea Robbers, as confirmed via the club’s official Facebook page.
Madu, a defender, arrives to bolster Moneni’s backline. The club described his signing as a strategic step towards building stronger international links.
“Udo, your journey now continues in Black, White and Red. Welcome to Moneni. Welcome to The Ship,” the club stated.
Williams’ arrival was similarly hailed as a strategic milestone, with Moneni officials extending gratitude to Orlando Pirates for facilitating both deals.
The South African duo form part of a broader recruitment drive by the Sea Robbers, who have also acquired Mukelo ‘Msiwi’ Nhlabatsi from relegated Sisonkhe and former Manzini Sundowns player Junior ‘Stopper’ Mtsetfwa.
The squad additions add extra flair to the touchline battle between South African tacticians Mandla Qhogi of Nsingizini Hotspurs and Moneni’s Seloatse ‘Sly’ Mosala, who recently led the Sea Robbers to the 8Bet Trade Fair Cup title.
