MBABANE – SwaziBoy Entertainment took its 20th anniversary celebrations to the public with a lively activation at Albert Millin in Mbabane on Friday.
The event, which began at 4pm, drew a spirited crowd as DJs Crooks, Tibza, Mafaka, Matamza and Cece provided entertainment. Fun lovers gathered early, transforming the venue into a celebration of two decades of nightlife culture.
Ten attendees walked away with tickets to the main SwaziBoy Entertainment 20th anniversary show, awarded through a series of giveaways held during the activation.
SwaziBoy Entertainment Director Mthunzi ‘Shadow’ Zwane said the activation was designed to bring the milestone closer to the public and to engage audiences outside the company’s traditional event spaces.
“The activation was about taking the anniversary closer to the public,” Zwane said.
He said the initiative allowed supporters to interact directly with the brand while celebrating its 20-year journey. According to Zwane, the ticket giveaways were a gesture of appreciation for loyal followers who have supported the company over the years.
He added that the turnout demonstrated strong public interest in the milestone and encouraged more fun lovers to take part in the broader anniversary programme.
The activation followed the official unveiling of SwaziBoy Entertainment’s 20th anniversary programme at Happy Valley Hotel in Ezulwini. The three-day celebration will feature a gala dinner, deep house conversations and live performances.
Local artists Bholoja, Judah, Zwile Bhembe and Linda Dlamini are among those billed to perform, with Linda having opened the launch ceremony with a prayer. South African acts Young Stunna and DJ Zinhle are scheduled to headline the closing festivities.
Zwane described the anniversary as a moment to reflect on SwaziBoy’s contribution to Eswatini’s nightlife and the memories created through its events over two decades.
“We want people to celebrate these two decades with us,” he said, paying tribute to supporters who have remained connected to the brand.
The Albert Millin activation forms part of a wider public engagement programme marking the company’s 20 years in the entertainment industry and bridging past audiences with a new generation of revellers this month.
