MBABANE – Eswatini Farmers market organisers have dropped a bomb for music lovers as one international act has chosen an international gig over theirs.

“Okay fam, this wasn’t the plot twist we had planned. We need to let you in on an important update regarding the acts were booked and paid for by Farmers Market timeously, but we have since been informed by their management that they have opted to honour an international gig instead. We tried. We talked. We followed up. We explored every possible way to make it work, but sometimes, even after you’ve done everything right, the script decides to change. However, farmers market does not do ‘maybe they’ll show up’. We have decided to make the responsible call and move forward with other incredible acts who are exciting, committed and ready to deliver on the day,” read their social media statement.

The social media release further stated that they know some of their fans will be disappointed and honestly, they are too. “To everyone who had their eyes on Jazzwrld & Thukuthela, we’re sorry. But here’s the good news, Farmers Market is still happening! Our 5th edition is a milestone and we’re determined to make it one you will remember for all the right reasons. More music. More experiences. More surprise more vibe and of course more farmers market excitement. So please don’t pack away that outfit,” stated their post.

The show organisers have reassured their fans that they will make sure to have an even bigger act to replace the Amapiano duo, hence telling their fans to stay glued onto their socials for more updates.
