LOBAMBA-Today marked the first sitting of the 12th Parliament where members sat without one of their own.
Princess Lindiwe, who was laid to rest the past weekend, was an appointed Member of Parliament (MP) and Minister for Home Affairs.
During the sitting at the House of Assembly yesterday, Speaker Jabulani Mabuza made an announcement that as per the Standing Orders, the House had to observe a moment of silence.
“The minister was a minister and a member of this this House. We have conveyed our messages of condolences to Their Majesties, Executive, the House and the family. We must remember that while we are all here, the truth is that one day we shall all be called by the Lord. We thank all of you from ensuring that as Parliament we are able to pass our condolences,” Mabuza said.
