MATSAPHA — Throngs of emaSwati are arriving for the third edition of the celebration National Fire Day.

The celebration is being held at the Matsapha International Airport under the theme “Advancing Fire Safety, Rescue, and National Service in the Spirit of Agape Love.”

Throngs of emaSwati have already arrived for the occasion. Some are seated in the stands, clad in formal suits and traditional regalia. Vendors are also in attendance and preparing fast foods.

Meanwhile, other invited guests and dignitaries have already arrived. These include the European Union Ambassador, the Indian Ambassador, and chief fire officers from neighboring countries such as Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa.

The area is a busy one as delegates and invited guests continue to arrive. They are being welcomed by ushers and shown to their seats.

National Fire Day serves as an annual platform to honor the dedication and bravery of firefighting personnel, raise public awareness about fire safety and prevention, and foster regional cooperation among emergency services.
