MBABANE – Trendsetters!
South African businesswoman Shauwn ‘MaMkhize’ Mkhize’s Eswatini-based outfit Mbabane Highlanders AM have taken the lead in football fashion by unveiling sleeveless supporter shirts.
The capital city giants revealed the new attire on their official Facebook page on Tuesday. The club announced that, fresh off the seamstress line, the official sleeveless shirts are set to debut this Sunday at Somhlolo National Stadium.
“They will be available at the Mbabane Highlanders AM stall. We want to see our stands draped in a sea of black, white and gold as we rally behind our beloved Black Bull,” reads part of the statement.
Public Relations Officer Thabiso ‘Touch’ Manyatsi said the club introduced the summer range so fans could stay cool and comfortable throughout the 90 minutes.
“We are striving to ensure all our supporters can afford official club merchandise. For now, we are rolling out the black and white shirts, with additional colours coming soon,” Manyatsi explained.
He confirmed the items will go on sale on Sunday, when the team tackles Ubombo Sugar in the semi-finals of the 2026 PLE Charity Cup.
“I encourage our supporters to buy the merchandise, as proceeds will directly support the club’s daily operations,” he added.
The club recently restored its traditional black and white strip following calls from the fan base. This follows last season’s switch to black and gold after the South African entrepreneur assumed the presidency of the capital city giants.
